Brent just LOVES to play the Blues! Wednesday evenings 6pm – 8pm

Brent enjoys blues music and loves to share his favorite tunes and knowledge of the blues in his show called Brent’s Got the Blues. Brent particularly likes finding new music from existing and emerging Australian artists and playing them on his program. He will often be joined by some of these artists in the studio or on the phone to chat about their musical journey.

As well as new Aussie artists, you will hear the latest international releases, some of the old blues masters and music you just have to tap your foot to.

4CRM is such a great way to share this music as it doesn’t often get played on other media. There is one thing better than listing to recordings of this music and that is seeing it live and Brent will tell you about festivals and gigs both locally and around Australia.

Brent’s other passion is photography, so if you see him out and about taking photos around the Mackay region, make sure you say G’day.

Bonjour. 

 My name is Monique and I present the French language programme “Bonsoir Mackay” every  Tuesday  night from 6pm til 7pm.  

I was born in Brussels, Belgium and have called Mackay home for the last 44 years.  I joined 4CRM in January 1994 and have been presenting “Bonsoir Mackay” ever since.

The programme consists of lots of music from the 60’s to the present from French-speaking artists from France, Belgium, Canada and others as well as general information and  news about  culture, history, sport, language and more.  

I hope you can join me on Tuesdays at 6pm for a touch of French culture and information in tropical Mackay.
